Pin Up Lecture

Description:

Pin Up has permeated culture since the 19th century. We will discuss Pin Up as an artform and cultural phenomenon, including in the discussion the work of Tattoo artist. We will discuss various historical, contemporary, and political aspects of Pin Up culture starting with the Gibson girls and ending with the suicide girls. This lecture will include Graphic content so viewer discretion is advised.

Lecturer:

Addison Landers is the creative director of Limitless Print and Designs and a recent MFA graduate from the Vermont College OF Fine Arts.
