Basics of Illustration

Description:

Come learn the basics of illustration as a profession. In this workshop we will discuss the wide range information and best-practices associated with the illustration profession (editorial, children’s book, comics/graphic novels, book covers, pattern design, and more). In addition we will explore the problem-solving nature of being an illustrator through a series of short drawing exercises.

Instructor:

Laurent Hrybyk is a Baltimore based illustrator, designer, animator, and artist. He is a graduate of the MICA MFA in Illustration Practice program and currently works as Limitless Design’s senior designer. His work can be seen at laurenthrybyk.com
